There are 386 students attending the Primary School, 190 boys and 196 girls. The Nursery School has a total of 220 students: 101 boys and 119 girls.
To improve guide and help them as much as possible and improve the life quality, we are constantly working on generating new ideas and working on the established goals. Currently, there are three topics in which we invest the most time, among which we started to save up to build a middle school, creating a water well and developing and implementing a sports program.
These three subjects will each have their own distinct contribution to the lives of the people in Gambia. For example, the sports program will stimulate more creativity and facilitate personal development, and a water well will create a higher life quality as well as new job opportunities.
These plans are only a small fraction of all of the aspects of life in Gambia that we invest in, we hope to tackle all of these ideas one by one with your help!
Building a Middle School
In the Farato region, children can now only go to primary and nursery school. Our dream has always been to provide a full school experience for the children in Farato. Including middle school and high school. Therefore, we are very happy to announce that we are saving up to build the first middle school of Farato.

Construction for a Water Well
As of right now, there is no access to clean water for the children. Clean water is the most important factor for your health, so this project is a high priority for us! We do not only want to provide a water well but also include a filtering system. The well is being build right now but help us to ensure the children can drink clean water.

Sports Program
Healthy mind is healthy body! Sport helps to develop social skills, increases your self-confidence and makes you feel better about yourself. We think this is of utmost importance for children and that is why we are setting up a sportpogram in Farato! We are in close contact with the sportsteachers in the Netherlands and we try to get them to program, equipment and field they need.
